What is Supplex?

The fabric

Supplex is a fabric that has the feel of cotton and provides a superb smoothness. It is light weight, dries fast, wrinkle resistant and colours do not fade in the wash. New technology has produced colour fast fabrics that retain their vibrant colour like new and the texture maintains shine and resistance after numerous washes. Supplex dries fast as it does not absorb nor retains humidity that escapes through the weaves.

Supplex is ideal for use inside or outside.

Applications

Supplex is made from a composition of polyamide and spandex thread. Special polyamide threads (with elasticity) allow the fabric to stretch when worn and avoid thread splitting which occurs in other products, where cotton or polyester threads are mostly used and do not provide any elasticity resistance, resulting in thread splitting and consequently making the product turn into a short-life product which usually only lasts for 1 summer/year or so.

Supplex is a polymide of invista with a fine rank of 6.6 of the textures thread in the air which gives the clothes amplitude and smooth touch of cotton. When mixed with Lycra it can heighten the adjustment and freedom of movement in the clothes.
